The Vietnam war inspires the film SOLDIER BLUE. To make it even more appealing we have a really hollywoodian idea of an indian maiden nude.its a kind of snuff movie of the U.S cavalry raping then snuffing out the horny indian maidens.of course it was totally different to all this.Our vision of the Indian wars has come down to us through a kind of total distortion based on Hollywoods vision of it. Soldier Blue was just as bad in its own way and didn't live up to expectations.it started with that blatant lie of a poster and finished with someone like Candice Bergen running around on the Savannah with no bra on.

The distortion of the indian wars was taken on board by toy soldier makers and this perpetuated the myth that came at first from painters of the west and then move into Hollywood.
We have to thank the re-enactors for getting back some semblance of real historical value lthough many get it wrong
