ELIZABETHANS

It was an age that began with Bows and arrows and finished with gunpowder. The last bowmen of the realm were the Elizabethans. The Tower of London execution set was a real turn up fr the books as regards a unique piece of toy soldier history. This should be on everyones want list.I'd love to have it for the right money. Look at the only Mary Queen of Scots ever done; its by New Hope Design, some great little company but what happened to them?Considering that blody British film and TV companies are always going back to the Elizabethan age one wonders why only Cherilea and a few others brought out Elizabethans. These and the Monarch set plus Reamsa of Spain are the only ones you can get.Three sets in most. The set on the left is a really nice group and costs about £3 from Devina Hill. I think they are a must for your collection.
aT THE TOP OF THE PAGE IS THE mONARCH SET PLUS TWO cHERILEA VERSIONS of Drake. The Drake pieces are not bad. We really needed an Elizabethan archer here. Another period totally ignored by all and sundry is Henry the Eighth; he is always in the media's mind so that's strange;any answers from my two readers. Below is the paint job you could do on one of those Elizabethan plastic figures.
